Planity, the subscription-based platform that has become the operating system for beauty professionals across France, Germany and Belgium, has appointed Lester Bernard as Chief Financial Officer. The appointment comes as the business continues to scale its platform and strengthen its leadership team across Europe.

Founded in 2016, Planity combines a leading consumer booking marketplace with a comprehensive software platform used by approximately 60,000 beauty professionals to manage appointments, payments, point-of-sale, inventory, customer relationships and broader business operations. The platform reaches more than 15 million consumers across France, Germany and Belgium. The business operates a subscription model under which professionals pay a fixed monthly fee, and has raised approximately €100m since inception, backed by InfraVia, Revaia, Crédit Mutuel Innovation, Bpifrance, Alven and Eiffel.

Lester joins from Kameleoon, the A/B testing SaaS platform, where he served as Interim Chief Financial Officer. His career spans more than two decades across high-growth technology businesses and investment banking. He has served as CFO of Bridge API, the French open banking pioneer, where he led the company’s transformation into a scalable platform, as well as of BOXY and Replika Software Inc. He founded and led Octopus Advisory, and spent more than twelve years at Crédit Agricole CIB, first as Vice President of M&A in Paris and then as Director of M&A for the Americas in New York, with responsibility for complex cross-border transactions.
