Rydoo, the spend management platform serving multinational organisations across Europe, Asia and North America, has appointed Mathieu Gerard as Chief Technology Officer. This marks the arrival of an experienced engineering and product leader to the company at a significant moment in its platform development, combining enterprise-scale engineering credentials with a proven track record as a technical founder.

Mathieu joins from ServiceNow, where he spent more than five years in a succession of senior engineering and product leadership positions. He served as Senior Director, Software Engineering across the Smart Operations and Workplace Service Delivery domains before moving into his most recent roles as Senior Director Engineering and Senior Director, Inbound Product Management - Workplace Solutions. Prior to ServiceNow, he was Co-founder and CTO at Mapwize (acquired by ServiceNow), an indoor mapping platform he helped build from inception through to 2021. Earlier in his career he founded Conference Compass, serving as its Managing Director from 2009 to 2013 and as a Board Member until 2017, and held the role of Technical Director at IKOMOBI. He holds a Ph.D. from Delft University of Technology.

In his new role, Mathieu takes ownership of Rydoo's technology strategy and engineering organisation, leading the teams responsible for the product platform as the company continues to grow.
