Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Managing Partner group, the Partner role is central to Faraday’s international growth. As a key leader as a Partner in the firm, you will:

  • Originate and build trusted relationships with world-class Founders across the technology ecosystem.

  • Develop enduring partnerships with venture funds, business angels, and advisors to embed Faraday’s proposition into their investment and portfolio strategies.

  • Establish and cement a recognised track record around a specific sector, function, or geography — positioning yourself as a visible expert voice in that domain.

Key Requirements

  • Talent & Leadership Orientation: Genuine passion for people, leadership, and organisations in early-stage and growth-stage technology.
  • Venture Ecosystem Exposure: Proven experience working with VC, PE, or technology founders internationally.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong origination skills with a proven track record of revenue generation.
  • Performance Standards: Clear appetite and ability to originate a minimum of £1m in annual revenue as a fully functioning Partner.
  • Influence & Communication: Authentic presenter, sharp listener, compelling storyteller, and trusted advisor.
  • Structured & Analytical: Systematic approach with data-driven decision-making and process discipline.
  • Cultural Fit: High EQ, collaborative mindset, appetite for international travel, and a balanced outlook on work and life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Originate Relationships: Identify, win, and sustain key Founder and CEO partnerships across the tech ecosystem.
  • Investor Engagement: Build and extend trusted relationships with venture funds, investors, and prominent angels.
  • Advocate & Position: Promote and embed Faraday’s products, services, and advisory into investor and portfolio practices.
  • Track Record Building: Develop and publicly demonstrate thought leadership within a defined vertical, function, or market segment.
  • Search & Advisory Delivery: Lead end-to-end execution of retained searches and advisory mandates, ensuring consistent excellence.
  • Firm Leadership: Mentor, develop, and attract top talent across all levels of the organisation.
  • Strategic Contribution: Drive firm-wide initiatives — from product innovation to operational improvement — working towards equity participation by being a culture carrier.
  • Values & Culture: Embody and extend Faraday’s values of Excellence, Trust, Collaboration, Proactivity, and Curiosity.
